Monolith stone block with protome of the head of Jupiter-Ammon

A stone block bearing an image of Jupiter Ammon in high relief. On the damaged base double molding can be discerned while on upper section there is quadruple molding. The image depicts a mature man with thick hair and a beard. There are downward curving ram horns atop his forehead. The hair is parted down the middle and above the forehead it forms two large locks. The creased forehead and stern lines of the negligibly open mouth give the face a threatening expression. When it was found, it was interpreted as an altar. It belongs to the architecture of Zadar Forum and it can be presumed that it belongs to the basilica built during the Sever dynasty (193-235 A.D.).

It is damaged. The left and the right part of the central figure are missing.
