The statue shows the pharaoh of the Middle Kingdom. Unfortunately, the image can not be accurately identified.
The head is made in coarse grained light brown granite. Head decorates festive nemset scarf or hat which led adheres to the rim with uraeus. His face adorns artificial beard that is largely broken off. Despite the usual hieratic display mode, a face has portrait characteristics.
Only the head of the pharaoh is preserved so can not be accurately determinated whether the head belonged to a statue or perhaps sphinx. The dimensions of the head is relatively small so it can be assumed that the head was part of a statue.
