Vessel

Vessel
The vessel was made in the form of a low round pot with a small round base (4.5 cm), a relatively small neck and an elevated convex wide edge. Small drilled cylindrical handles are placed on both sides. These forms of vessels with cylindrical fingers and edges, as seen on this example, were mainly made during the Naqad culture period. They were commonly used in daily life activities and were discovered when excavating various tombs where they are housed as a typical funeral equipment.

It was made of red breccio. Red and white breccia vessels were usually made during the Naqade period.

The vessel was previously dated to the Early Renaissance period.
