Unconventional shabti, pregnant naked African woman with implements
Pseudoshabti, pregnant naked African woman. Her hair is combed backwards and it is lowered from side to face to shoulder height. Breasts, around the neck, are decorated with three necklaces. Hands are leveled with the body and upper arms and fist resting on the breasts. Her body is naked. You can also see glimpses of her abdomen.
Similar figurine was found in Nin and it's kept in Archaeological Museum in Zagreb. It's very hard to percisely date the age of the figurine. It was probably made somewhere from New Kingdom to Graeco-Roman period.
It is made from terracotta. It's relatively well preserved. A smaller part of the foot is missing.
