Turquoise faience amulet in form of a dung beetle, known as a scarab.
This larger oval amulet is very life-like. The hard wings of the beetle are indicated by a T-shaped cut on the top, with two wings expressed in relief on the sides. The head of the scarab is stylized on the front part of the amulet. There are hieroglyphs on the bottom side of the beetle. On the middle of the body, from head to bottom, there is a perforation for the amulet string.
