Private person. Mummiform. Late plain lappet wig. Without artificial beard. Hands crossed opposite, sleeves combined, arms indicated. Hands are empty. Flat back. Face is oval and well-shaped. Eyes, nose, mouth and the big ears are well shaped. Without hieroglyphic inscription.
This is the only shabti figure ever discovered in the territory of Istria. It was found in built in remains of the wall during the archaeological excavations of the antiquity settlement discovered in the village of Kazale. It has not been fully analysed and it is kept in the private collection of the family Lik from Filipani, the owners of the land where it was discovered. It was the most likely brought to Istria during the Greco-Roman period (c. 3rd century BC to the late 2nd century AD).
