Statue of Isis-Fortuna

Statue of Isis-Fortuna
The bronze statuette of Isis-Fortuna is covered with green patina. The head is turned to the right, the right hand, rather separated from the body, leans on a ship's tiller, while the left, aslo separated from the body, is holding a cornucopia. The statuettes's weight is on the right leg.

The long chiton with rich folds reveals her left shoulder and breast. A himation is thrown over the chiton, and tied below the breasts. The curled and wavy hair is gathered in a bun at the pate. A basileion (a high crown consisting a bovine horns, a sun disk and a feather) leans on her.

The figurine is well preserved and of fine craftsmanship.
